Every important figure should answer three questions: where did it come from, what period does it cover, and how fresh is it?

• Financial statements and filings — SEC EDGAR company facts and submissions.
• Prices and charts — Yahoo Finance public endpoints; data may be delayed.
• Headlines — Google News links; verify reporting at the publisher.
• Earnings and analyst evidence — Finnhub when configured and available.

Quality controls

TickerHum shows source and as-of metadata, preserves filing periods and forms, validates upstream responses, and never substitutes zero for unavailable data. The Data confidence category reports how much evidence was available; it is not included in the overall quality score.

Limits

Free public feeds can be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable. TickerHum is not a real-time trading terminal. Verify decisions against the linked filing and a licensed market-data source.
